Work Coach - a useful blog

A search that found this blog on managing up, my post here, led me to the work coach blog.

Subtitled advice from the trenches about jobs, the blog seems to have some rather useful information and advice that would benefit staff, managers and boards.

Thank you, Jim! I'm honored that you mentioned my blog. Best of all, I found your blog...and it's just brimming with excellent, practical advice.

Love what you say about the diagnostic stage of consulting (applies to problem solving in general). How often a client thinks they know the scope of what they need and yet it doesn't solve their real problem. Managing up skills come in handy even when consulting!

Thanks, Ronnie Anne. I am glad that you liked it. I think that we have similar motivations. Cheers from Rosebery, Sydney.

Most definitely. I felt the same thing when I read your human-centered words. I also find it fascinating to see how universal these experiences are. Cheers right back at ya!
